We have seen these things before in the movies; we called them 'Zombies'. We always were afraid of them but we always reassured ourselves that it was 'just a movie' or that it was 'just a show', but we never thought that those old horror films and famous television shows would come to life with one small virus. The only way to stop these creatures is by stabbing them not in their cold, dead and unbeating heart, but in their head. If we damage their brain, then we save our lives."

The government has a secret, they are the cause of the apocalypse of the dead. They wanted a weapon, something that no one would be able to beat. They created a virus, one that wakes the dead, that creates more like them. But it went wrong. It kills women, and those women infect others. They've found no women that can get past it. All she wants is to keep her friends safe and find somewhere safe they can live, away from the horrors of the world. She travels the continent, trying to find somewhere she can stay. She faces unimaginable threats and has to learn to face her fears, or die at the hands of them. She faces many things and find some things. She faces death and sadness, faces the unthinkable. And she finds real friendship and even love. Is it possible to love in the apocalypse? She'll just have to find out. She learns of what the government did and that they are looking for her, and she runs, trying to keep her and her friends alive. But there's only so much one girl can do. Will she find somewhere safe to hide from the government? Or will the government finally catch her? Will she fall to the world of the undead? Will her love survive the apocalypse?
