Harry never thought he'd end up back here-back in Tom's house, back in Tom's orbit, back in the marriage he destroyed with his own two hands. But addiction doesn't let go easy, and neither does Tom.

Two years ago, Harry ran-left behind the vows, the house that finally felt like home, and the man who would've given him the world. Now, rock bottom has come knocking, and with debt collectors at his door, he has nowhere else to go.

It starts with a guest room, late-night cigarettes on the balcony, and home-cooked meals he pretends aren't for Tom. It turns into routine. It turns into something dangerously close to hope. And then-because Harry has never known how to leave well enough alone-it turns into a kiss.

Now, there's a cake on the counter, a ring on his nightstand, and a man who never stopped waiting for him.
