After the Volturi killed Evelyn's whole coven and her parents, she was the only hybrid left. She was all by herself until a group of vampires stumbled upon her. At first they weren't going to take her in, at least not until a pixie-like girl with black hair had a vision that Evelyn was going to find Edward's soulmate.
Evelyn knew that living with vampires was going to be a struggle, and what's worse is that she thought that she would never find her soulmate because she was different from other vampires and werewolves-a mixed-blood.
One day, she decides to take a run into the forest in her wolf form when she stumbles upon another vampire. Evelyn was going to attack him, but once she looked into his red eyes she saw her whole future with him.
She knew that this man was her imprint-her soulmate. And no one, not even her family, was going to separate them.
