Subject 03-01 was an abandoned HYDRA experiment at only three months old. Inside an old outpost in Germany, Project Infinity had been experimenting with the power cells of the Tesseract to create a being capable of infinity stone location and manipulation. After four years with no success, it was decided it was taking too much time and too many resources to keep up with.

Out of seventy-one infants, the only survivor was left to die. Instead, Natasha Romanoff, searching for supplies to aide on her run from 117 countries, finds the baby just in time.
