It's the line from 'Let Down' that circulates my head the most. It's the most popular one, just look at anyone with a Radiohead tattoo, but it's popular for a reason. The words on their ankles and shoulders are identical but not a single one of them have the same tattoo. It means different things to different people, but there's four I've seen enough of to believe them to be the main interpretations."
Gerard and Mikey Way have just moved to Renneston, Vermont, for a fresh start and a new chance. Starting high school, they meet a few boys who just don't match the rest of the crowd- a kid named Ray who's desperate for a life outside Renneston, and a kid named Frank, who's desperate for a life outside of his own mind. The four boys grow close and navigate a school year full of unresolved trauma, unspoken feelings, and unexpected surprises.

It's not like I asked for this. I didn't ask. I didn't want this. But now there's nothing in this world that I could want more. Him, next to me. Smiling. Us sitting next to each other. Holding hands. Kissing. Hugging. Everything. Frank; a depressed kid with problems no one could imagine. And a desire to die. Gerard; another depressed kid who doesn't want life anymore. 3:39 am. Gerard finds Frank passed out on the beach. 5:24 am. Frank wakes up in his room with no memory of two hours before. 6:12 am. Mikey, Gerard's brother, sits in his brother's room, talking about the boy Gerard found on the beach. 9:52 am. Gerard wonders about the boy on the beach. 10:43 am. Frank wonders why he's still alive. 12:37 pm. Mikey wonders why his friend, Frank, is acting so weird. 2:19 pm. Gerard leaves the house and goes to the beach, where he found the boy. 3:49 pm. Frank realises someone found him. 5:26 pm. Mikey wants to know what the fuck is going on with the two important people in his life. But then, Donna gets a horrible phone call one night from the police saying that Frank (Frank's dad) was in an accident and unfortunately didn't make it. She went under extreme depression leaving the two boys with a mother (or step-mother) that was somewhat unstable. So with a mother who was always crying and wallowing in self-pity, will the two boys actually suck it up and talk to each other when there is no one else? And maybe they get too friendly with each other...Complete
