Earth was completely wiped of resources after a deadly super-flu outbreak that left a majority of humanity dead. The world was completely destroyed, buildings left in ruins and vegetation beginning to retake what was rightfully theirs from the beginning. All hope was lost for Keith. He lived in an old, run-down cabin in the middle of nowhere, spending his days hopelessly trying to rebuild his life while isolating himself from any type of help that would ever come. Enter Lance. His life was the same as Keith's, but he was on his own journey, a journey to find his family. A few days before everything went wrong, Lance's family had gone on vacation, having been missing ever since. Before all communication was cut out, Lance was able to contact them one final time. He wasn't going to give up on them. Lance, unfortunately, had gotten shot by those who chose to go against humanity a few hours earlier, slowly stumbling upon the abandoned-looking cabin. Will the two men find peace in this dystopian world, or will they continue to live their lives until death takes them?
