Dreams are...mysterious, to say the least. One says they are memories, mashed up. Others say, they are past or future lives. And then again, they could be portals. Whatever they may be, they connect people with each other. It doesn't matter where they are, or when they are. The only thing that matters is, that sometimes....one cannot wake from them. What would it feel like, to die, while being in your REM-phase?
Would one's soul be stuck in the dreamscape? In the void? Would they be redirected, to their next lives? Perhaps it is different for every soul, depending on their sins?
And most importantly....what if they meet another soul, not bound to rules and pressure of their onw subconsciousness.
