When the Daleks set their sights on the Doctor, the Doctor makes an unthinkable choice. Using the Chameleon Arch, he erases every trace of his Time Lord identity, locking away centuries of memories, knowledge, and power in a small fob watch. In his place is left a human baby - ordinary, and utterly unaware of who he truly is.
On a quiet night, Lily and James Potter stumble upon that baby in a bundle alone in the street beside a strange blue box. Unable to have children of their own, they take him in, naming him Harry James Potter. But the wizarding world has its own dangers, and a prophecy soon entwines "Harry" in yet another war, but this one he was never meant to have to fight. Voldemort comes, the Potters fall, and the boy survives. Alone. Again.

Emily Evans finds herself in an unknown place, her memories covered by a form of amnesia, when she was ten years old. City...London Country...England Continent...Europe Time...1995 With no where to go, and nobody she knows, she aimlessly walked around the city until she came upon this young girl and her mother as they were walking home. This young girl quickly got the attention of Emily, who was curious about why Emily seemed to be by herself. The young girl's mother also found this to be a curious sight, if not a little alarming. Upon the young girl's mother's quick conversation with Emily, they quickly found out that Emily had no clue as to where she was, who or even where her parents were, Emily didn't even know who she was. As such, the young girl's mother did the only reasonable, logical, thing...they took Emily with them and also called the police to let them know that she had found a little girl who appeared to be lost. Six years later, Emily's life appeared to be coming together quite nicely...until she met a mysterious stranger who quickly shook her world to its foundations. Instead of the stories she very much liked to read, she was now living a wonderful, mysterious, exciting adventure of her own. She has taken it upon herself to fight aliens that come to earth, hoping that she might one day run into him. One day Sarah Jane witnesses a large rock fall to earth near where she lives and decides to investigate it herself. When she takes a sample of the rock a purple gas is released from it, it goes straight into Sarah Jane's body. At that moment the Tardis materialises and the tenth Doctor steps out of it.
