After a accident when he was young, Sal falls into a coma, however, he continues aging in his headspace and living his life, therefore he's not aware of this. After he finds out years later after the accident, he manages to destroy his headspace, though finds out he's still not in the real world. Defeated, Sal tries to kill himself.
