Aurania's a simple girl who longs for human interaction.  It's a hard thing when you live underwater and have a scaly tail.  Aurania is a mermaid. In fact she is the youngest mermaid princess of the Atlantic kingdom.  But thing aren't going so well.  Her mother needs her to marry to protect the kingdom.  As she sets off to meet her future husband, she has no idea what it will entail. (pun intended J)  A handsome prince, a dangerous fugitive with a dangerous attraction, and a human who connects with her in a way she didn't think was possible. Add a war and a top secret section of the U.S. Navy that specializes in "science experiments" and we got a story!All Rights Reserved

She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these.
