The Shadow Masquerade

Emauny is a rebellious maid in a castle where her cousin is the prince and her uncle, the king. Frustrated at her disposition in life and the charity case she has become for her relatives after the tragic death of her father, Emauny is determined to make life unbearable for both her cousin and uncle.
Life is chaotic, but normal...or as normal as it can be for her, but then, another kind of evil enters the castle in the form of a prince from the opposite kingdom. Suddenly, her uncle becomes ill and lies on his death bed, her cousin, Territh is forced to take the role of king- and as for Emauny; she gets caught in the wicked Prince Luke's game of tuth and dare... A game which quickly increases in stakes and becomes a matter of life and death. Now Territh must hand over Emauny to the despicable Prince Luke or risk raging a war between the two kingdoms. Emauny has to decide between marriage to a man she both loaths and secretly fears as he is a master in the game she had once dominated- or risking danger to her only remaining family and the lives of the people she has grown up around. Emauny is by no means used to being caged, and when people attempt to snip her wings she finds herself rebelling and making decisions she never thought she'd have the courage to undertake...
