After the whole incident of Tom piercing Tord with a spear he thinks he's dead. As much as he hated him he starts to have depression over the whole thing. He missed him for years and then he suddenly comes back but as a worse version of himself? It broke Tom. All that changes on a night he decides to go out drinking by himself.
