At Yancy Academy, nothing makes sense-not the teachers who keep glaring at Percy Jackson, not the weird storms that seem to follow him, and definitely not Briar Vale.
She's the new girl. Quiet, sharp-tongued, and always carrying a leather-bound journal filled with sketches of poisonous plants and Greek monsters. Percy can't figure her out. Every time she's near, something strange happens-flowers bloom through cracks in the pavement, shadows flicker in empty classrooms, and Percy finds himself smiling for no good reason.
Briar doesn't know what to make of Percy either. He's loud, unpredictable, and keeps calling her "Flower Girl." But when strange things begin happening at school-like a math teacher turning to dust and vines lashing out in the cafeteria-they realize they might have more in common than they thought.
Neither of them knows they're the children of gods.
Yet.
But secrets don't stay buried forever.
