Red belongs to the Lotus Kai pack, which claims a small island off the coast of Maine as its territory. When an ally pack is destroyed they travel to help, but along the way she finds her mate, who is the wolf responsible for all the destruction. She is faced with the difficult decision of staying a good little wolf, or allowing lust to bring her to the dark side of the woods.
