Charlie Sand a Driver and Sidney Heaver, a fireman who works on Sodor, write about the events going on recently. Sir Topham Hatt has recently signed a contract for a new nuclear power plant the government is building on the Brendam Branch. Heaver shares his opinions about the matter before mentioning that, besides that, nothing has changed. Heaver mentions how his engine, Edward, has the same opinions about the power plant, though the latter does like the idea of doing more work.
