Secrets can be over powered by exhaustion, this is something that happens regularly to Odette Blackthorn. More things she keeps hidden, piles up until something causes them to errupt like her bloodlust. Her daylight ring she wears everyday without taking it off has grown some suspicion - even teachers - this causes people to bully Odette, her emotions playing like a volcano. 

Love is an emotion Odette hasn't depended on until now. Fred and George Weasley - The amazingly, infuriating but handsome Twins, the only person stopping her from letting these feelings go is Angelina Johnson, she had Fred wrapped around her little finger like a spider catching and teasing its food before striking. As these feelings like love, envy and an extreme desire to drink blood expands, she feels more overwhelmed and more vulnerable than she leads on. Odette doesn't want to accept these feelings but as she does, her desire for blood increases, a burning lust to kill others, to drain people's bodies, to make students go missing and  knowing the reason why.
