Helen Parry disappeared in 1946, reappearing in 2028, the result of a scientific test that went wrong. Her reappearance triggers a series of events that call for protection from more than just regular federal agents.
Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson have only just returned from a gruelling mission and are ordered to take on what they initially see as nothing more than babysitting. Along with the federal agents they are assigned to work with, they find their hands full not just dealing with corrupt federal officials, who may be working for HYDRA, but potentially the Power Broker as well.
It doesn't help that Helen is smart, beautiful and has a connection with Bucky that he originally doesn't know about. That's something they have to work out between themselves.
This novel takes place in 2028 (presumably after the events of Avengers: Secret Wars). All MCU characters used are the property of Disney / Marvel.
