- भाग 33
The world ended not with fire, but with silence.
Cities crumbled. Nature crept back. And in the ruins, the dead did not stay dead.
Kael, a quiet survivor hardened by loss, trusts only his instincts.
Lara, fierce and stubborn, refuses to let the world strip away her humanity.
Together, they wander through forests, rivers, and the bones of cities-searching for hope in a land crawling with horrors.
But the dead are changing.
Some move in packs. Some hunt with unnatural speed. And some... some remember.
When whispers of a hidden sanctuary reach them-a place untouched by the plague-they must choose: keep running from the dark, or risk everything for the faintest spark of tomorrow.
In a world where laughter feels like betrayal and love is a dangerous luxury, survival is not enough.
They must rediscover what it means to live.

Post Plague Kidnapping - Published!
It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Wraith of the Wastelands
In the ruins of civilization, where survival is a brutal game of wit and violence, one man thrives-not despite the chaos, but because of it. Dorian Vex never fit in before the world ended. Society had rules, expectations, and limits, all of which he despised. But after the Collapse-a viral outbreak that turned most of the population into mindless husks-Vex finally found his purpose. With no laws, no morality, and no one to stop him, he carves a path through the wasteland, taking what he wants and eliminating anyone who gets in his way. Yet even monsters attract attention. A group of survivors, led by a former military officer named Lory, has heard of Vex's trail of destruction. They see him as a threat that must be neutralized. But Vex sees them as something else entirely-entertainment. As he plays his deadly game of cat and mouse, the lines between predator and prey blur. And when a shadow from his past emerges, one of the few people who truly understands the darkness inside him, Vex is forced to confront the one thing he's always avoided: his own nature. In a world where the strong rule and the weak perish, can a man with no conscience truly be stopped? Or is he the future of humanity's remains?पूर्ण
The Hollowing
The dead have never been so alive. After a deadly contagion reduced the world's population into mindless, undead monsters, the ruins of America still teem with activity, as some of the dead have regained their intelligence and created their own society; one free from the living's touch. Now, more than a decade later, survivalist extraordinaire Liam Fenix undertakes a harrowing escape from the uninhabited island that has been his prison since before the outbreak began, only to discover that he is the sole survivor of the civilization he left behind. He is not alone, however, as reincarnated bounty hunter Leah believes that Liam holds the key to reversing the pandemic that created her race. Armed with their survivalist expertise and following traces of the past, the two must traverse the wastelands together and bring back life to an otherwise dead world, even as they are pursued by a tyrant who does not want this plague to end. ------- Top tags to date: #1 in Gritty 12/21/2022 - 1/11/2023 ------- New chapters will be posted on Mondays, 4:00-6:00PM EST. THE RISKS
"You can't tell me there isn't something here worth risking everything for." [New Adult Apocalyptic Romance] Summary: There are some things that you can't outrun. That becomes all the more obvious when the world is ending, when there's nothing left but the feral creatures that were once people, consumed now by a virus that's made them cannibalistic and ravenous. It might just be easier to end it all, but Claire still has one last thing to fight for. Her younger sister. And she intends to keep her safe, no matter the cost. So, with no other options and her sister in tow, Claire ventures out into the dangers of this new, unforgiving world in search of safety, security, and answers to some long burning questions. The first two things -along with some new, unexpected questions- she finds in an unlikely place: a stranger who she's become indebted to. She has a feeling he can help her answer all her questions, if she can allow herself to fully trust him. Trust, she thinks, is a fragile thing. Humanity, a construct. Love, a weakness. But these are the thoughts of a survivor, and she's beginning to wonder if surviving is all she wants. Maybe she wants to live.

A Different Virus - Laura's Story
This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Is this fleeting shadow something that can help her or could this mysterious figure be even more dangerous than the zombies themselves? ---------------------- Ranked #1 Apr 10, 2018 (A huge thank you to all who read and voted!)
