In the world of Myrrath, every soul is bound by the divine grace of the Six Callings. For centuries, the Gods have bestowed a single rune upon each individual, defining their magic, their purpose, and their place in a world of perfect order. For Kael, a quiet and studious boy from a small village, his destiny is clear: to be chosen by the Stars Rune and earn a place at the prestigious Stellarium, the pinnacle of magical learning. But at the sacred Altar of Essence, when the Gods offer him a humble Earth Rune, his dream shatters. In a single, desperate act of defiance, Kael rejects their gift-an act of heresy unheard of for a thousand years. Reality shudders, and in place of a divine blessing, a black, coiled symbol of chaos burns itself onto his hand: the forbidden Rune of Will. Branded a heretic and hunted by the very Keepers of his faith, Kael's only hope for survival is to do the unthinkable. He flees to the great city of Aethel and hides in the one place no one would ever look for a monster: the heart of the system itself, the Stellarium. Posing as a magically weak but theoretically brilliant student, Kael walks a razor's edge, his true power concealed beneath a single leather glove. He must navigate the suspicions of a wise instructor, the rivalry of an arrogant prodigy, and the unexpected friendship of a kind girl named Lyra-a bond that makes his deception all the more perilous. But as Kael delves into the academy's forbidden history, he uncovers a terrifying truth: the "monsters" of the past may not have been monsters at all, and he is not the only one of his kind.

"I don't know if I loved him or survived him. Maybe it's the same thing" He set fire to the world but never let a flame touch her. Aria is an English philosophy student chasing reinvention in Paris; a city romanticised by poets, but cruel to the lonely. Behind her sharp tongue and steady stare, is a woman shaped by absence and aching for intensity, connection, purpose. Tired of running, but terrified of staying still. She tells herself she's cold. She tells herself she's untouchable. Harrison is brilliant, sharp, unknowable. The kind of man who disappears mid-sentence, who walks like he's carrying sins he'll never confess. You don't fall in love with Harrison, you fall into him. With a past soaked in violence and a heart barricaded by guilt, he lives in exile from the world, and from himself. The last thing he ever wanted was to be seen. Drawn together by fate, or fatal flaw, they orbit one another like lit matches and gasoline. It isn't love, not yet. It's something more dangerous: recognition. And when the flame becomes a fire, who will get burnt? This isn't their story, it's yours. You've been here, haven't you? Where love feels like war, and silence is a kind of violence. Where you knew it would break you, and you still begged for more. Read on, if you're brave enough to feel yourself burn.
