Clara always intended to finish her book...eventually. Instead, she wakes up inside it. Wearing Ugg boots, Bugs Bunny shorts, and her dad's KFC hoodie, she's now dodging bullets, arguing with her own spy character (who insists his name isn't Six), and being mistaken for the makeup girl on a movie set that apparently exists inside her imagination.
Welcome to the Dream-Verse: a place where unfinished stories come alive, characters rebel, and plot twists take on a mind of their own.
Now, Clara has to survive her own chaotic creation, and maybe, hopefully, finish her book before someone else writes her out of it completely.

"H-hey.. You know..." Work brain, work. "What?" he hisses. "Um... I-I think I need my inhaler. It's in the bag," great, nice move. But my hope shatters into pieces when he rummages through my bag instead. "Where the heck did you put it," he asks, or maybe states as he isn't looking at me. "NO. Just give me my freakin' bag.
