Clara always intended to finish her book...eventually. Instead, she wakes up inside it. Wearing Ugg boots, Bugs Bunny shorts, and her dad's KFC hoodie, she's now dodging bullets, arguing with her own spy character (who insists his name isn't Six), and being mistaken for the makeup girl on a movie set that apparently exists inside her imagination.
Welcome to the Dream-Verse: a place where unfinished stories come alive, characters rebel, and plot twists take on a mind of their own.
Now, Clara has to survive her own chaotic creation, and maybe, hopefully, finish her book before someone else writes her out of it completely.

"Look," he said sternly, his green eyes blazing with anger as he looked down at the small woman before him. The dark skin that covered her body made him want to reach out and lose himself completely in her beauty and those dark chocolate eyes weren't helping. He gave a frustrated sigh when she stared up at him with an innocence only she would have. "I don't like this anymore than you do, but for the time being you're going to have to stay with me, just until the chaos dies down." On a early Sunday morning; Echo is getting ready to head to her parents house to spend the day with her family. There's a knock on the door. Echo opens it, surprised at the smiling figure of a male looking down at her. "Hi! Is Izzy here?! I have to drop off her notes!" The boys says holding up a yellow note book with Izzy's classic property tag written on it, 'Izzy Is Baby'. "She's not here right now. But you can set it on her desk over there." I say while moving and letting him pass. I close the door and walk to my bed, grabbing the CD's I bought for my younger sisters Evie. He walks to the door and turns the handle but it doesn't open. I turn around when I hear him struggling with the door. "The door won't open." He says pointing to the handle. "Yeah it's been weird the past week or two. You just have to yank on it." I say as I walk up to it to open it. But a loud static sound comes over the speakers. "Hello students of Clover University. It seems we've had a glitch in the locking system. We're not sure how long it will take to repair. So unfortunately you're stuck in the dorms until further notice. We're sorry for the inconvenience." The speakers make a beeping sound then go quiet. I sigh before throwing my bag on my bed and plopping down. I pull out my phone and call my parents, telling them what is happening and that I won't see them until they fix the issue in the system. "Well then. Guess I'm stuck with thee Echo Short!" The boys smiles joyfully before marching over to Izzy's bed and sitting down. "So you know my name but I don't know yours." I say looking at him. He chuckles. "Kai Wells! It's a pleasure to meet you!" He says happily. "Nice to meet you Kai Wells! I look forward to getting to know you buddy." I say with a faint smile before falling back into my bed and plugging in my earbuds. This is gonna be a weird... But my hope shatters into pieces when he rummages through my bag instead. "Where the heck did you put it," he asks, or maybe states as he isn't looking at me. "NO. Just give me my freakin' bag. Fast!" I try one last time. And lucky enough, he gives up. He brings the bag to me hastily. I redeem it, throw it back on the 'other side' along with myself. I run for my life.
