This infomation soon comes to haunt the batch as the past catches up to a certain marksman who has no choice but to 'disappear' from the universe in order to keep everyone safe but it costs him deeply. It fits into the season as if it was always a part of what was happening. What if Crosshair stays with the empire because he has more there that just being a good soldier to come back to? Written in novel format based on Season 1 of the Bad Batch, this is a platonic romance that dives into the darkness of what Kamino has done to the clones and what the future holds for them after Order 66 and the enactment of War-Mantle. As an author, I enjoy looking deeper at the issues of interpersonal drama woven together with politics.
