Sereia Murphy has always belonged to the ocean. Growing up in Palma de Mallorca, she lives a life of salt-kissed mornings, family dinners, and the gentle rhythm of waves that seem to know her secrets. At twenty, with college on the horizon and her little brother Kalei still looking up to her, she thought her path was simple - until the tides brought him. Kael Bellafonte is everything she isn't. A city boy from Palermo, Italy, with a wild reputation and family wealth that casts a long shadow, Kael knows only the thrill of nights filled with music, liquor, and fleeting faces. But when he and his friends visit Mallorca to escape the city before school begins, he doesn't expect to meet the girl who will challenge everything he thought he knew about love. As their worlds collide, Sereia and Kael are pulled into a summer that changes them both - a summer of sunsets and secrets, heartbreak and healing, and a love that feels as endless and untamed as the sea itself. But like the tide, love always shifts. Will theirs rise strong, or will it pull them apart?

One last trip with her family before she goes to University. Her intentions for this trip were to spend every minute making memories and savouring the last moments she'd get with her family before she moved away. She did this, just not with who she had planned. In the Italian sun it's easy to make rash decisions and to have a lapse in judgement. Especially when a man, you've only just met, comes into play. When he's showing you the island and teaching you Italian, how can you not fall madly in love? With three weeks to spend, will she let herself fall head over heels for a guy she will most likely never see again, or will she stick with her former plan and come to her senses?
