A fanfiction about a hard-drinking, hard-partying, Irish vampire who deserved better.
PROINSIAS CASSIDY was born in Ireland and became a vampire during a time of war. His known associates include:
SEAMUS (a voice on the phone who knows Cassidy is a vampire and is being hunted by hunters who we see him call for advice on several occasions throughout the TV series.)
JESSE CUSTER (a small town preacher with a shady past who made a promise to his dying father to be "one of the good guys" and who became a carrier for an Angel/Demon baby named Genesis that forces anyone with a soul to obey his every command.)
"TULIP" (Jesse Custer's childhood sweetheart, sometimes ex, and all the time partner. She has slept with Cassidy on multiple occasions, often making her a wedge in Jesse and Cassidy's friendship until the event in which Cassidy was forced to turn Jesse into a vampire to save his life.)
DENIS (Cassidy's son. Deceased.)
ECCARIUS (a fellow vampire with a more than passing interest in Cassidy. The two were actually quite happy together until such a time as they came into direct conflict over Cassidy's moral code. Eccarius is deceased before Jesse is transformed.)
PROINSIAS CASSIDY's known enemies include:
THE GRAIL (A shady religious organization known to be responsible for several conspiracies and hellbent on bringing about the apocalypse. They crossed paths while Cassidy was trying to assist Jesse in his efforts to find God. They have been known to kidnap and torture Cassidy in an effort to get to Jesse Custer.)
VAMPIRE HUNTING VIGILANTES (They have been hunting Cassidy for a long time and seem to have an almost preternatural ability to track him down. Seamus knows about them and seems to be gathering intelligence on them and their reach. Though it is never clear how Seamus does this.)
ANGELS AND DEMONS (Cassidy's association with Jesse Custer has brought him into direct conflict with both Heaven and Hell. These creatures can only be killed by each other.)

"Get out of my head!" He yelled at me. I stood my ground, because I was here and was not leaving. "What's your problem with me?" I hissed.
