Born on the Isle of the Lost, Chessa grew up with a mischievous grin and catlike eyes that always saw through the lies around her. With streaks of purple and pink in her hair and a tail that glows when she uses magic, she's every bit her father's daughter-unpredictable, sly, and impossible to ignore.

But unlike the other villain kids, Chessa never quite fit in. Mal hates her, Evie pretends to care but secretly judges, and the others keep their distance. The only one who truly understands her is Carlos de Vil-the boy who once defended her when she was nine and has been by her side ever since. Their bond is complicated, somewhere between best friends and something more, though Chessa has yet to realize it.

When she's dragged into Maleficent's schemes because of her father's loyalty, Chessa is forced to stick with Mal and the others, no matter how much she resents it. But Auradon changes everything.
