I swayed my hips following the rhythm of the upbeat music playing on my stereo, jumped and turned for countless times like a kid while I tried to organize my things inside my crimson red suitcase. I could be the happiest girl alive right now and nothing could be more perfect than this day. After 5 years, my family is finally moving back to our hometown---back to where we undoubtfully belong. A wide grin spread across my face. Oh yes! We are finally going back! But then, the normal life I thought I have, was far from being normal. Secrets hidden, memory loss---more like sabotaged, and the heat I have to think about. And oh there is this one thing---I am an alpha.

"You threw me to the rogues, but you never expected me to lead them. You thought they'd eat me, but instead they bow before me." She backs up, seeming to compose herself a little, and I'm still speechless. "Stupid Alpha, did you really think I'd wither away? Did you honestly expect me to just disappear like the rest of your problems?" She starts laughing darkly, making everyone else but Julian step back in fear. She closes her eyes, dropping her hands to her sides. "Stupid Alpha. I'm stronger than you ever were, and even more terrifying." Her eyes open, I gasp in shock at her now glowing red orbs...crimson with a frightening glow. "I'm Alpha of the Rogues, and your apologies mean nothing to me." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scarlett Thomas was just a warrior wolf in her pack of Shadow Mist...that is, until she turned sixteen and found her mate in the Alpha. But instead of finding happiness and love, he practically rejects her and tosses her out of the pack like she was garbage. Now, three years later, she's stronger than ever. And the man who rejected her is coming back for forgiveness...and she has none for him. Ruling her own pack and holding her own, she shows him just how much he threw away...and will never get back.
