Why do I say the stupidest things to the people most important to me?
It misdirects my words to a different meaning. 
Today was the day everything officially screwed up.
Normal texts. Catching up. Casual talk. Then I go and screw everything up.
He hits me with something that nothing could compare.
"Obviously it's not as important to you as it is to others."
But that's what you think.
My reply is different than what I think.
