Mature
Mira Collins was just another twenty-six-year-old business student, that was until her mounting debts forced her into a lifestyle of petty theft. After a failed attempt to steal from the wrong person, she finds herself leashed by Mathias Montgomery, a crime lord. The girl becomes bound to him and is forced to carry out his ruthless and dirty deeds.
One day Mira's mission goes terribly wrong when two civilians are nearly caught in the crossfire. One of the two civilians is accidentally shot and then a flash of light appears, then Mira is suddenly torn from her reality and cast through a portal into a strange realm called Valoria. Instead of being punished, she is able to voice her story of what transpired. There, she is welcomed by the rulers of the land.
As Mira adjusts to her temporary stay in Valoria, she is tempted by the wonders and her chance to leave her sins behind on Earth. Throughout her stay, terrible things begin to happen to her. She becomes haunted by visions, dreams, and memories that are not her own. Soon, she begins to suffer from mysterious physical and mental effects. Her torment is unable to be eased by the rulers or physickers which leaves Mira to figure out if this affliction is a consequence of her stay or if it is tied to the realm itself.
Caught between two worlds and determined to uncover the truth, Mira embarks on a journey of self-discovery that could potentially be more dangerous than she ever imagined.

Mirai, the Witch of Sight by High_Priestess_Elena
101 parts Complete Mature
Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die. Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up. Little does she know of the trauma the girl has suffered, nor that finding her is only the beginning. ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence, suicide (happens in the prologue while POV-character has her back turned), rape (happens in chapter 30 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fade to black, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), violent death of babies, some rather bloody scenes, self-harm, extreme guilt. Note that a major part of this story focus on healing from and learning to live with trauma, so though you could potentially read it but skip some specific parts, if you're not comfortable reading something that deals with the listed topics, then this book won't be for you. ---------- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (completed) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light (ongoing) Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love

The Cursed Prince

34 parts Complete Mature

In a kingdom where curses are more than mere fairy tales, an ancient castle stands hidden behind walls of dark thorns, forgotten by all but the bravest and the most foolish. For within those shadowed halls slumbers a prince cursed by his own heart's betrayal. Once a ruler feared for his power and beauty, he now lies in a spellbound sleep, imprisoned by a vengeful sorceress who demanded a price for his cruelty: eternal rest, unless someone awakens him and binds their fate to his. Mira has never believed in fairy tales. Life in her village is one of harsh reality, where survival depends on wit and willpower. But when her family's future hangs in the balance, she's driven to the one place her people have always feared. Rumors of a sleeping prince and a curse that can be broken are all she has to go on, yet desperation leaves her no choice. But awakening the prince sets a far greater plan in motion, and the darkness she thought she'd face is only the beginning. Now, bound to a prince whose shadows dance with danger and desire, Mira must learn to navigate a world of magic, betrayal, and a fate that pulls them both toward something neither can escape. The only question is, who will break first-the girl with fire in her veins or the prince whose heart has long since turned to stone?
