Proposal of Submission - Psychic the Saga
Hello, I want to first thank you for taking the time to read my proposal, as I know that there are many others you must work through who have done the same as I; please, trust me when I say that your attention is greatly appreciated. I am messaging you today because I wish to submit a selection of excerpts taken from the series of science fiction/science fantasy stories I have written; called Psychic the Saga. I'm a former United States Marine, and a currently enrolled Aerospace Engineering undergrad at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Over the course of the last eight years, during which the earlier stated experiences have occurred in my adult life, I have continually written the story I am now presenting for your consideration. Outside of writing as a hobby, and what was needed when submitting assignments, my only writing credential is a published engineering research paper in the European Physical Letters: 'Tailorable Twisting of Biomimetic Scale-Covered Substrate'; of which, my main contributions were that of the experimentation, and the editing/proofreading of the paper. In regards to my submission, the story of Psychic follows our trio and the rest of their friends as they fight for peace and stability within the newly unveiled realm of psychics, once hidden amongst the world for untold millennia. The statistics of Book One are as follows: word count = ~205279, page count = ~396, target audience = young/new adult (16~34 yr. of age). The reasoning behind this age range is two-fold: the concepts, morals and lessons, themes, and situations/ problems faced by the main characters are both relatable and beneficial for this age group; also yes, there is foul language, and yes there are very visceral depictions of violence. Also also (lol), I wish to give a disclaimer in terms of any romance, love, or anything else similar; I intentionally never take the story beyond anything more intimate than a kiss. So there. Rivers of Light
It began with a king who lost his queen, and found visions instead. Umos Talos crowned himself Emperor, claiming descent from the forgotten Aumenors. His visions split the realm, birthing two banners: the Anointed, armed with machines and prophecy, and the Concord, sworn to resist by council and vote. From besieged cities and starving families, to merchants caught between profit and ruin, to lords defending old blood-feuds turned holy war, every voice tells a piece of the empire's unraveling. This is not a tale of heroes, but of survivors: soldiers choking on smoke, widows burying husbands in mud, lords forced into rebellion. War spreads. Old feuds ignite. And beneath it all, whispers return of the Aumenors - the ones who once "walked the deep sky." I tried experimenting with a GRRM-style book using multiple POVs and chapters, but honestly I shat myself as it's just too much. If this little draft (about 24k words so far) has already overwhelmed me I can only imagine what GRRM is going through with The Winds of Winter. If this ends up rated highly (I've never used Wattpad, so I'm not even sure how that works) I might continue. Please share your feedback.
On the Run - A Warhammer 40k Fanfiction
In the universe of Warhammer 40k in the grim darkness, a lone Eldar warrior is faced with an ultimate test of her survival skills. After her and the rest of the army she was with failed in their attack against the awakening of their ancient robotic foes, they retreated to a fortififed location in the ruined human city, waiting and gathering their strength whilst having helped the local humans in their current war agains the brutal, savage and greenskinned Orks. Being ignored by her superior of a looming threat by the hostile Necron army approaching that they encountered and now larger than prior army, big enough to slay her whole unit comes closer with every second passing. The Howling Banshee Taerana decides to leave her kin to avoid the same fate after they failed to heed her warning of the large threat and numbers the enemy posseses because of her lack of proper combat experience. Read on Taerana's story as she tries to escape the war-torn city along a human ally to the outskirts of the city where she may be rescued by her kin before the chasing Necrons slay the Eldar survivor.Complete
Stainburrow (Prologue)
Steampunk city with a type of regime, fantasy elements and vampires (a lot more like Alucard from Hellsing then this teen drama bullshiet) guy gets pushed into a rebellion by a pupet master like entity. Plus there is a horrific enemy with lots of gore which was inspired by monsters from deadspace. Look i am awful at powerphrasing. just read a couple of chapters (and excuse how bad the first one is, ill have to rewrite that one ;-;) and see if you like it. This now serves as a prologue to my current much larger book (Stainburrow) but it is very separate from it. It also requires a complete re-write. Should information in this conflict with something in that book than Stainburrow should be considered cannon rather than the prologue.Complete

Despite the new powers that appear to provide prolonged peace to the planet, a sinister character lurks in the background plotting their own mysterious and nefarious goals: The Scientist. An unlikely hero, along with the friends he meets during his quest to discover his identity, will themselves to complete the impossible task of stopping the Scientist and all that the Scientist schemes. But are they simply subjects in the Scientist's experiment? Mature content includes some violence.Complete
