This book tells a story of an author writing her book, in a trance of finishing the last chapter. She is typing frantically, eagerly pouring her heart into the book when she finds herself in the story. 
She writes a character so similar that she starts playing the main character in her own book.
The Author Must Die is a haunting, metafictional journey into creation, control, and the price of storytelling.
