"Miss ko na siya," a sigh escaped my mouth.

"Sapakin na lang yata kita, kanina ka pa dyan." Thea hissed beside me, she shoved the medallion to my chest harshly as I tried my best to suppress an eye roll. A faint light glowed between one of the many cracks on the medallion.

"You know, if you told us way earlier than you wouldn't have had any more trouble than...this." She pointed at my paralyzed and charred finger.

"How was I supposed to know? I got transported in the middle of nowhere and in someone else's body because of some heirloom my ex left at my place. What did you expect me to do first?"
