The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
DISCLAIMER: I do not own and did not write this story. It is a copy of Original Book by Robert Louis Stevenson that I have uploaded here because it was way better to read than the PDF I was given in school. But I decided to let it stay here to help spread the book to wider audiences. Hope you enjoy. ----- Author: Robert Louis Stevenson Publisher: Longmans, Green and Co. Year: 1886 ----- It is about a London lawyer named Gabriel John Utterson who investigates strange occurrences between his old friend, Dr Henry Jekyll, and the evil Edward Hyde. The novella's impact is such that it has become a part of the language, with the very phrase "Jekyll and Hyde" coming to mean a person who is vastly different in moral character from one situation to the next. ------------Complete

#WhoIsLerosy ✔
COMPLETE! "It can't be real! There's no 500-year-old guy in a jester hat lurking just out of sight, waiting to abduct willing teenagers! We would have heard of him before now, right? #WhoIsLerosy" There was once an innocent time in our lives when we sang nursery rhymes in a circle, holding hands with friends, never realizing that one of those songs was a warning... On an anonymous forum site, one girl asks the question, "Who is Lerosy?" The discussion thread quickly veers off track when someone claiming to be Lerosy tells another girl with the same question that he's waiting outside her window. Amid the clamor of outrageous comments and trolls, a mystery begins to unravel until the group learns that the original poster has actually gone missing. Blending truth and mythology, impossible conspiracies abound and chilling confessions arise, as some of the forum users not only admit to knowing about Lerosy, but what he may have done to the girl. Powerless to escape from what they're reading, this idiotic mob of screen names, once bent on childish humor and verbal chaos, becomes involuntary witnesses to the unnerving details of a father's hunt for his daughter's fabled captor. Fitting into the 'found footage' realm of supernatural horror and suspense, and stylistically similar to TAP by Wattpad, #WhoIsLerosy turns forum sites, an ordinary venue from the digital age where many of us feel safe to visit on a daily basis, into the setting for a narrative thread that will make you afraid to use your phone in the dark. =================== :: #95 in Horror (Highest) :: Spoilers, overt negativity/hostility, and self-promotion will be deleted. :: MCliffordAuthor on Twitter/Instagram/Snapchat/Facebook :: Copyright 2015 by M. Life After Death
"I hate everyone." "Except me, right?" "No, especially you." ⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻ It's funny, isn't it? That when the whole world decides to become infected with a brutal and fatal virus, the real monsters are the ones still alive? Blake Finnegan lost most of his life before the apocalypse anyway. So for him, it's no problem. But can a group of four just as tormented teenagers change his perspective? ⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻ "Genies grant three." "I'll take three." I shrug. "Two." He bargains. "Three." I say sterner. "One." He couldn't look any more relaxed. I almost take up his earlier offer on two. Almost. I'm still too stubborn. "Five." I cross my own arms, covered in dirt. Rise of the Crescent Moon
When Josephine returned to her home town after the death of her parents she was prepared to take a job at the local hospital. She wasn't prepared to run head first into her werewolf mate. She spent her entire childhood as the wolfless daughter of an Alpha who thought his own Luna was weak for not having a wolf. He sacrificed his pack and the legacy of his bloodline to ensure power for himself. Now, it's up to Josephine and her Alpha, August, to save their entire pack, but they aren't prepared for the war they just joined. "Mr. August Hayes was responsible for the cinnamon rolls and the smell of fall spices. If it wasn't his intense body language or the burning gaze staring into my soul giving it away, it would have been those electric blue eyes. The same ones that stole my sleep. I gulped. Why me? I squirmed uncomfortably in front of the panel as Dr. Grace led me to my chair. She was eyeballing me with a look that told me I had to pull it together. I sat down and quickly crossed my legs, trying to make myself smaller. Nurse Kasey was smirking at me, giving me a knowing look. Great, another one. I sighed through my mouth, careful not to inhale anymore of his scent. I had to get it together. I couldn't be the doctor from New York City who strolled into Little Compton hospital and made herself look like a complete idiot. I plastered on a smile."
