(This Fan Fiction Will change the names of many family members. This will include many homophobic slurs and slang that you may find offensive. Do not be offended as it is only part of the plot. This fanfic is BoyxBoy so if that bothers you do not proceed in reading this.) Los Angeles Church of Pentecost. Home of homophobia and every LGBT persons nightmare. The Preacher at this church is none other than Doug Hemmings, the biggest homophobic you will ever meet. He once lit a gay man's car on fire just for being gay. He has a wife, two sons, and a daughter. His dream is to stomp every gay right to the ground. Then there is Calum. He is the sweetest 16 year old a person could ever meet. He would fit just about right in at every town but this one. This town is practically run by the church. Everyone in the town is determined to stop LGBT rights. All but Calum's family and Ms. Parks. When Calum's Science Class gets switched to 4th Period with Luke Hemmings... Things get a little rough.

Calum was the "bad boy". The smoker, the drinker, the fighter. He had tattoos all up his arms and multiple piercings. He demanded the respect of everybody else, and scared even the teachers. Luke was an outcast. The weirdo, the freak, the rich gay boy, who couldn't even buy himself some friends. He was bullied, beaten up daily by a childhood friend. Everybody knew who he was, but nobody really cared about him. When Calum saves him from his bullies, Luke is confused, but soon discovers that underneath the bad boy image, Calum is more insecure than he is. •Started 4/12/16 • Completed 18/08/18 Cover by @PaigeFreeman
