They always said Gotham City changed people, it was a rumor that circulated the entire nation, one Reese had grown up hearing. She never believed it of course, it was a big city like Metropolis, one guarded by its own group of supers. If you've been to one you've been to them all. When her mother is promoted, along with a very generous scholarship for Reese Larkin, her family can't exactly say no and packs up to move across the country. She already has plans to move out as soon as she graduates, but goddamn it, nepo babies at this school are annoying. Especially a self-righteous Wayne kid with a trust fund bigger than her imagination and ego to match who seems to make it his personal goal to get in her way as much as possible. ~Marked mature due to violence, and very heavy topics such as death and grief. I do not own any characters, or places in this story, just my own characters, everything else belongs to DC
