Beacon Hills was always the quiet town where nothing ever happened. To the locals, there was nothing special about the small Californian town. To the growing kids, it was the boring place where they grew up. The teenagers would look forward to lacrosse games, schools dances, and passing their exams. They didn't have to worry about anything beyond their grades and crushes. They definitely didn't have to worry about something as extreme as murder. Those kinds of things just didn't happen in Beacon Hills.
Sydney Stilinski did t know what to expect for her sophomore year of high school. Returning from the semester break, the only thing on her mind was trying to find the courage to ask her best friend to the upcoming dance. The last thing she expected was to go searching the woods for a dead body with her brother and best friend, yet that's exactly where she found herself the night before school was set to return. In a town where nothing ever happened, everything changed for Sydney and her friends, learning there was much more to their Boeing small town. The body was just the beginning to the secrets hidden in the shadows of Beacon Hills.
