She was the storm, quiet and unseen.
He was the sun, loud and radiant.
When their worlds collide, Tomoko and Haruto discover that sometimes love isn't about changing who you are-
...it's about finding the courage to stand together.
Tomoko has mastered the art of being invisible.
Quiet, withdrawn, and relentlessly bullied, she hides at the back of the classroom, clinging to the belief that if she can just survive school, maybe life will get better. Brilliant but unseen, her world is gray, stormy, and heavy.
Haruto is her opposite in every way-carefree, loud, and endlessly radiant. As the lead singer of his high school band, he shines so brightly that everyone is drawn to him. But behind the smiles and music, Haruto struggles too, fumbling through his studies and shouldering the pressure of always being "the sunshine."
When a chance hallway collision scatters Tomoko's notes across the floor, Haruto finally notices the girl who's always been right there. Fascinated by her quiet brilliance, he asks her to be his study partner.
What starts as tutoring slowly becomes something more-Tomoko learning what it means to step into the light, and Haruto discovering the beauty of slowing down and simply standing beside someone instead of always leading the way.
Together, they learn that healing can come in unexpected forms:
☀️ For Tomoko, it's finding her voice.
🌧️ For Haruto, it's learning the strength in gentleness.
When the Rain Meets the Sun is a tender coming-of-age romance about friendship, music, and love-the story of how two opposite worlds can meet and change each other forever.

Cynical Souls
COMPLETED✅ Two high school teenagers finding themselves, analyzing this ever changing world, and building love. This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. Today I'm turning my fiction to reality. ❣️•••❣️ Excerpt: Just as I was about to seek shelter under some building's roof, the tires of a car come to a halt, I wonder who might pity the lonely girl walking in the rain. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly. He sounds annoyed, like he regrets his decision to ever stop and help me. ❣️•••❣️ #5 in cynical #2 in loveandfriendship #1 in opinionated #4 in ihatelife #10 in nerdgirl #10 in HighschoolRomance #26 in GoodGirlBadBoy *contains mature themes. *contains cursing.Complete
MOON
"Just like the moon you are. Shining so bright in the darkness of the night. Reflecting one's shadow. Like the mirror, you're giving off beauty to a beauty, madness to a madness, heartbeat to a heartbeat, misery to a misery. You are nothing but my own reflection" He said, looking at me sideways. I stare at him deeply. It was so unexpected of him to say something in a metaphorical way, especially in this time of an event. "Always remember, we are under the same sky, looking at the same moon." I replied anyway... The story follows a teenage girl, stuck with her own, pathetic thoughts. Experiencing a moment of loneliness, difficulty making new friends, problems involving her family, social life, betrayal, death, and questioning her own existence. She thought her life would come to a lonely, and tragic end, yet she didn't know the day would finally come when she least expected it. She'd never knew the day would also come when she got transferred into a school she thought she'd never get to fit in, and when she got to meet this one guy, who believes no one else but himself. She fell in love but she believes she didn't receive the same feelings. Feel free to read this sad, and lonely life of a teenager. Explore the diverse world of high school romance, teamwork and friendship, slice of life and character developments this story will get you into. There's more to it than meets the eye..

Where the Storm Found Us ( Daniela Avanzini x FemReader)
The story opens with the storm. Daniela is trapped in it, soaked, trembling, and lost in panic. Her fear of rain isn't just about the car crash, though. There's another hidden truth tied to that night: someone was there when it happened. Someone she never forgot. You. Back then, you were just a kid too, standing by helplessly as the accident unfolded. You saw the wreck, saw the flashes of ambulance lights, saw Daniela being pulled away screaming for her parents. You never knew her name, but that memory has stayed buried in you for years, etched into the sound of rain. Unlike her, you grew to love it, because it made you feel close to that memory, close to the girl who survived. Now, years later, in the middle of a storm, you stumble upon her again without realizing it at first. The curly-haired girl curled into herself, shaking in the downpour, it's her. The very same girl from that night. When you approach, she doesn't recognize you. To her, you're just a stranger. But something about her face, her eyes, snaps you back to that rainy night long ago. The plot unfolds with this haunting question: what if the person you were destined to meet was someone whose pain you had already witnessed, without either of you knowing fate would pull you together again? As the story moves forward, you're torn between telling her the truth, that you were there the night her life shattered, or keeping it hidden so she doesn't see you as part of the trauma. The rain then becomes more than fear or comfort, it's the thread that's always tied you both together. ❗❗PAUSED❗❗

This is the story of a young girl and Haruka Nanase who've been best friends for their entire life. They grew up together as next door neighbours, swim buddies and school mates. What happens when he begins to develop feelings for his childhood best friend? Will things work out? Or will Haru end up in the friend zone? Forget Me Not ( Daniela Avanzini x femreader)
Y/N grew up in a world where money was never scarce but affection always was. A college student from an average but comfortable family, she lives alone, her parents' support measured in bank transfers rather than warmth. Surrounded by books and routines, she carries herself like someone present in body but absent in spirit, never really knowing what it feels like to be truly seen. Then one night, in a small café lit by amber lamps and the hum of chatter, she notices her. Daniela Avanzini-dark brown hair tied back, hazel eyes bright even under exhaustion, a barista with a smile that somehow reaches further than the walls of the shop. Daniela's world is the opposite of Y/N's, money tight, responsibilities endless, but love abundant, her family's unwavering support stitched into every sacrifice she makes. Neither of them speak at first, but something lingers in the air between them. A glance too long, a smile too soft, the unshakable sense of déjà vu. Like they already knew each other in another life. As their paths intertwine. Quiet orders at the counter turning into conversations, then something deeper-they begin to discover the kind of happiness and warmth they both craved but never thought they'd find. "Do you know the myth of Aristophanes? In the beginning, we had four hands, the same number of legs, two identical faces on a perfectly round neck. We attacked the gods, and they split us in two. Thus, they condemned us to seek our other half to regain our completeness." ⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶ Oikawa Tooru was a senior in high school who wanted to taste every challenge life could throw at him. Iwaizumi was a senior in high school who just wanted life to leave him alone. To Iwaizumi's great dismay, he was intimately tied to the life of a high school classmate who was far too loud, too narcissistic, too childish, too stubborn... Too much was the word that characterized him the best. If he had been given the choice, he would have chosen the opposite of these things for his soulmate. A ghostly hand had appeared on his 18th birthday, and ever since, it had guided his every decision, whether physical or emotional. For decades, a bond had been born that connected one soul to another through invisible touches. It united you with your alter ego in an unforgivable way. The principle of this connection was to make the slightest touch on one's skin feel the same intensity as on the other's. And the principle was nice... Everything and Nothing
There's a space between moments that most people never notice-the quiet gap between lightning and thunder, between inhale and exhale. That's where she lives, caught in the stillness while the world moves around her. She has all the right answers in class, smiles when expected, walks the familiar paths home. To everyone else, she's the quiet, brilliant girl who seems to have it all figured out. But inside her mind, questions spiral endlessly: *Am I real, or just reacting? Am I living, or simply watching myself move?* Between morning tea with her parents and afternoon races with Ren-her childhood friend who notices when she drifts too far away-she navigates the strange territory of existing while feeling like a stranger in her own life. Every ordinary moment becomes a puzzle piece in a picture she can't quite see, every silence heavy with thoughts she doesn't know how to voice. This is a story about the weight of consciousness, the beauty found in small moments, and the quiet courage it takes to keep questioning what it means to be real. Sometimes the most profound journeys happen not through grand adventures, but through the tender examination of a single heartbeat, a shared umbrella in the rain, or the way sunlight filters through classroom windows. What happens when you feel like you're always one step behind the rhythm of the world? What if the deepest mysteries aren't found in detective novels, but in the simple act of being awake? Perfect for readers who love introspective literary fiction, gentle slice-of-life narratives, and stories that find meaning in the spaces between words.
