The cold wind gnawed at her fading conscious as the warmth slowly began to drain from her body, pooling itself into a crimson mass beneath her still body. The thought of death was somehow amusing in the dire situation she had found herself in, or rather, trapped herself in was a more apt description of the events that had led to this moment. "Are you alright miss?" For a moment the young lady thought she was beginning to have auditory hallucinations near the end of her fleeting life however she was proven wrong when the same voice spoke again. "It's not good to sleep in the snow miss, you might not wake up in the morning." The voice was soft and gentle which filled the young lady with an odd sort of warmth she had never before experienced. It was a voice that was untainted by the world a distinct innocence that marked it as a child's voice. How ironic that the last person to witness her alive would be one of the things she tried so hard to protect. "Hey what's your name?" The young lady managed to whisper despite the pain that came from anything besides breathing.
