Mystery
Will society change when the world's most unstable being is released? Classified as Subject 42, rot is a living anomaly - infected by a syndrome that gnaws from within, warping both mind and flesh. Inside the sterile walls of the facility, rot is studied, monitored, and contained. They're not dangerous, the staff insists - only unstable. But records show a truth: rot remembers things they shouldn't be able to. Some things that are forbidden to leave their lips. Yet, the words slip by like water. Unnoticed - not entirely. As the hallucinations and hunger begin to contort them into something far more cunning and gluttonous, rot's containment is tested. Nurses vanish. Doctors spiral into insanity. Experiments lose their will to live. And every incident draws closer to the outside world. Because if you were meat, would you be allowed to live? No. Hunger is a sin, and it'll never be satisfied.
