Every summer in the coastal town of Seabrook, Bruce Callahan plays his infamous "summer game" - a fling with a pretty girl who never lasts past Labor Day. To the locals, it's tradition. To Bruce, it's a way to keep people from getting too close. But when Ariel, a newcomer spending the summer with her aunt, catches his eye, the rules begin to blur. Ariel isn't like the others - grounded, guarded, and uninterested in Bruce's charm. Winning her over starts as a challenge, but soon becomes something he never expected: real. As their romance deepens under sunlit days and late-night bonfires, Bruce's past resurfaces. Old flames stir drama, locals whisper warnings, and Ariel begins to wonder if she's just another piece in his game. When a secret about why Bruce never lets anyone stay comes to light, Ariel must decide if she can trust him - or walk away before summer ends. For Bruce, it's no longer about a game. It's about proving that this summer, with Ariel, could be his last one - the one that changes everything. ---

Jordy feels like she has met the love of her life and everything is almost as if taken out of a fairytale, especially after Archer Finn confronts her about his own feelings for her. The only obstacle for a beautiful relationship to bloom is the fact that Jordy has to leave for university in exactly seven days. Oh, and the fact that Archer is notorious for his player tendencies and cannot be trusted. Can she wear her heart on her sleeve even if it's only for a week? ----- "You've had sex in a car, haven't you?" "I've had sex pretty much everywhere, baby." "Ew, gross." "Why do you think so? Actually doing it in the park isn't-" "I wasn't talking about this, I just really hate pet names. I cringe so hard every time a couple overuses a certain word, thinking it's romantic. It's not! Why is this even a thing?" "Wow, I never thought someone could be this cute while pulling a mom rant." "Shut up." I scrunch up my nose as if I'm offended but my cheeks redden nonetheless. "Okay, baby." ----- PG13: curse words, sexual jokes and innuendos, descriptive kissing scenes This book is planned to be short, sweet and easy to read! I dedicate it to all of my hopeless romantics out there :)
