Loren Grey is in his final stretch of school when he finds himself fostered out to the O'Connells, living in Cooma. Three hours away from Canberra and 7 from Sydney, he is as far from his home turf as he’s ever been. They’re highly religious but not bad, the town is fine and his schooling is going well. But somethings not quite right, and there's only one new person in town. Everybody here has their secrets, and Loren has a thing for secrets. But the tangled mess he stumbles over will define the next few months of his life, and their ramifications could last a lifetime.
