I wanted to show not the glamorous facade of the industry, but its flip side - the fears, doubts and price paid by those who decide to follow their dreams.
My book is about how, even in the darkest moments, there may be people around you who believe in you more than you believe in yourself. It is about how music can be a salvation, and simple words of support can be a force capable of changing destinies.
This is a story about pain and hope, about how light can be found even where it seems that only darkness remains. And if this book leaves the reader with warmth and faith that there is always a way back, then it was written for a reason.
