she is seen as the black sheep by her mother, ming Lee, and her grandmother Wu Lee cause she is a singer and travels instead of staying at the temple and also she is also close to gaining her red panda, which the two fear.

ming Lee and Juno have an estranged relationship, and Juno loves her grandmother, but the three of them don't see eye to eye

when she hears of Mei awakening her red panda, she goes home to support her baby sister
