If he tried to pull his hand away, her fingers were locked around his wrist, dragging her entire weight forward into the blade. With a sharp, guttural roar of pure panic, Karthik twisted his wrist sideways, using the brute strength of his forearm to break her grip, and flung the iron knife across the room.
