The Heirloom is a hybrid of biography and historical fiction about shame passed down through blood. Born into a rural Korean family during the 1960s, Sungwoo Shin is marked from childhood by a rare and visible condition: severe gynecomastia. To his grandfather, a former slave scarred by his own past, Sungwoo's chest is an abomination - a reminder of weakness, femininity, and humiliation. What begins as a boy's quiet confusion turns into a lifelong struggle against a legacy carved into flesh. Spanning four generations - from a grandfather's brutal past under Japanese occupation to a son haunted by the same inherited flesh - this is the story of one man's body, and the legacy it carries. Unflinching, intimate, and devastatingly human, The Heirloom explores what we inherit, and what it costs to carry it.

In a world where power and privilege determine everything, I was nothing more than a passerby. I wasn't born into luxury. I didn't have a last name that turned heads. I was just an ordinary guy, content with a simple life. But when I transferred to Hybe Academy , I quickly learned that being "ordinary" wasn't an option. At the top of the school's social hierarchy sat seven untouchable figures-ENHYPEN. The rich, the powerful, the admired. To everyone else, they were legends. To me, they were nothing but strangers who existed in a world too far from my own. Or at least, that's what I thought. A chance encounter. A mistake I didn't know I made. A shift so small, I barely noticed it-until it was too late. Suddenly, I wasn't just another nameless student anymore. Suddenly, they were looking at me. Talking to me. Testing me. Dragging me into a world I never asked to be part of. And the closer I got, the more I realized... something had changed. Them. Me. Everything. But in a place where bonds are fragile and emotions are dangerous, I can't help but wonder-was this all just a game to them? Or had I stumbled into something I was never meant to be part of?
