The historical Judas Kiss, though often reviled by believ-ers, played a vital role in the development of Christianity as we know it-allowing Christ to fulfill his purpose on the Cross of Calvary. Judas had good intentions, hoping to force Jesus to use his divine power to usher in the kingdom he promised his followers, sooner rather than later. Of course things didn't turn out the way Judas had hoped. Despite that setback, the prom-ise of Christianity was indeed realized over time.
Perhaps the legal systems devised by man will never achieve the perfection of Divine Justice, certainly not in every case, but when the legal system falters it is important to shine a light on that darkness and deliver-A Judas Kiss to Justice.
At the time this memoir was written (April, 2021) the con-viction of former Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin, for the murder of George Floyd, made global headlines. Did his incarceration equal Justice for Mr. Floyd and his family?
This case was about so much more than the specifics of how case law should be applied. His conviction was about shaking the very foundation of the faults in the criminal justice system-Institutional Bias with respect to people of color and the poor.

1 part Complete
John Smith had always been a bit of an enigma. He grew up in a rough part of town, and his family had a chequered past that he preferred not to discuss. But despite these challenges, John was determined to make something of himself. He worked tirelessly in school, earning top grades and a scholarship to a prestigious university. It was there that John discovered his passion for law. He saw the legal system as a way to level the playing field for people who had been dealt a bad hand in life, just like he had. He threw himself into his studies, soaking up everything he could about contracts, torts, and criminal law. After graduation, John landed a job at a small law firm, where he quickly made a name for himself as a fierce advocate for his clients. He took on cases that others would turn down, and he fought tirelessly to ensure that justice was served. Before long, John had built up a reputation as one of the most talented lawyers in the city. But John didn't stop there. He had bigger dreams in mind. He wanted to start his own law firm, one that would specialise in unique and challenging cases. And he wanted to become a judge, so that he could use his legal expertise to make a difference on a broader scale. With hard work and perseverance, John's dreams became a reality. He founded his own law firm, which quickly became one of the most successful in the city. And he was eventually appointed to the bench, where he could finally put his legal knowledge and passion for justice to work. As John sat in his chambers, looking out at the city below, he knew that he had come a long way from his humble beginnings. But he also knew that there was still so much work to be done. And he was ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.

When a white policeman shoots an unarmed black teenager, the faith and strength of two families are shaken and a Midwest inner city community struggles with all-too-familiar tensions. The city's lead investigator strives to control escalating protests, a middle school teacher tries to calm her frightened students, and a pastor sees a rare opportunity for his community's voice to be heard. The victim's friend feels the prison walls of gang and drug-related violence closing in, and the officer suffers under a burden of guilt and shame. But the heaviest decision falls on average-Joe hospital technician George Washington, who finds himself--gun in hand--face to face with the man who killed his son. Background: In 2014, I completed my first National Novel Writing Month challenge--in November, I wrote a novel with 50,000 words. I published the book, but never promoted it. No one wants to pay for something with no idea what they're going to get. So I'm going to post preview chapters. All my books are available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle editions. What's this book about? When I first committed to writing a novel, I planned on doing one of my fantasy projects. But the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson and the resulting explosion of racial tensions dominated the news. What I saw online frustrated me. I knew that there was more to the story than any one side would likely present. Such complex issues aren't answered by sound bites and 140-character policy statements. I read up on aspects of culture I had no exposure to. I sought perspectives that wouldn't appear on my Facebook feed or regular web browsing. And I devoured some great books by Malcolm Gladwell that address human nature from an analytical angle using racial tensions and the civil rights movement as primary examples. I was amazed, moved, challenged, and inspired. And I knew that though I arguably have no right to say anything on the subject of racial tensions, I had to write this book.

*Since I took down The Inmate, I decided to revamp the entire book so this is a completely different look of Chandice and Jordan from the BEGINNING!* *ALSO ILL BE CHANGING THE TITLE AND COVER AND Description of the book* I'd like to call her a saint, maybe even one that you'd look up to but she wasn't. You could never tell of one's ways but hers, hers were always clear and I never saw them truly until our lives kept going on. The more serious that we, her son and I got, her intentions and hatred got worse. I always knew there was always evil lurking around a corner or as one would say, a devil wearing Prada and maybe even knocking at one's front door. She was forever seeking a greater thing in life for her son, she wanted the power, the greed and most importantly for me to be out of her son's life but what lead for all of this? Why was she so infatuated with getting rid of me when I'm only out to help her son better himself in life as he was doing with me as well. My love for her son was always truthful but she never saw it that way and I'd never question why and I never paid attention to the things she'd hint at when I was around or not around. Her son loved me to death, we had our ups and downs like every normal couple but ours were more of in a shamble, in a shamble because his mother was always clouding his judgment. Things never really hit rock bottom until many different secrets started to reach the surface and that's when the devil wearing her Prada knocked at our front door. Her son and I were looking in from the outside from everyone's point of views while continuously getting blindsided but how will our future ever turn out like a fairytale if the devils still here. Will, she ever have her downfall, or will we have ours?

A healer. A survivor. A victim of profound injustice. How does someone who has dedicated their life to helping others find the strength to heal themselves after losing everything? In December 2019, I woke up in a psychiatric hospital following a suicide attempt. A simple conversation with another patient sparked a shift within me-a glimmer of clarity that would change the course of my life. But how did I end up there? What devastation could drive a loving spouse, a therapist, and a lifelong survivor to the edge of despair? This book unravels the journey that led me to that breaking point and how I found the strength to keep living. My story is one of triumph and tragedy-of overcoming paralyzing shyness and social anxiety to become a psychotherapist, only to have my life shattered by unimaginable injustice. Between 2000 and 2006, I lost everything I had built: my home, my career, my community, and the love that once gave my life meaning. The destruction was sudden, like a meteor crashing down, and the aftermath left me in ruins. Worse still, the world condemned me as a villain when I was only ever a victim. But this is not just a story of loss. It is a story of survival, of how I faced the darkness and chose to keep living. It is a testament to how love, hope, and the power of connection can guide us through even the longest night. Through this memoir, I share not only my pain but also my triumphs-the moments of joy, love, and meaning that kept me fighting for life. I write this book for anyone who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or unjustly condemned. I write it to show that healing is possible, that our stories matter, and that no matter how broken we feel, there is always a path forward. This is my story. But it is also a story of hope-for you, for me, and for anyone who has ever longed for justice, healing, and love.
