4 years following the last Game in South Korea.
Every attempt was made to bring Gi-hun, hanging on by a thread, back to life. Millions of American dollars went into his treatment over the course of 3 years, where he remained trapped in a coma and plagued by amnesia. In-ho, the Frontman, visited every day for those 3 years, bringing in new flowers when the old ones had wilted. Gi-hun had taught him the value of humanity, the indescribable nature that surrounded them. For the first time, their goals had truly aligned, and In-ho was prepared to do what it took to keep more from suffering to the hands of the Game in America.
About a year after Gi-hun awoke in the Massachusetts General Hospital, he received a letter detailing In-ho's plan to stop the American Games, with Gi-hun reprising his pawn role as player 456. Despite his desire not to engage with the games again, he knew he couldn't live with himself were he to allow thousands more to die under the pretense of his sanctity.
With the promise of help from In-ho, and the assistance of Mercenary Elizabeth Halden and her partner, he reluctantly agrees to join the games for the final time.
Follow Gi-hun as he navigates the new and exciting games, where this time, he is one step ahead of America's Frontman. In-ho, Elizabeth, and more assist him through this journey with the hopes that maybe this time, he can end it once and for all.

001 x 456 / Seong Gi-Hun x Hwang In-Ho enemies to strangers to lovers to enemies to maybe lovers Fluff / Angst THIS IS NOT PROOF READ YET.. (and probably never will be im lazy) Ever since Seong Gi-Hun, a finalist of the 33rd squid games, decided that he wanted to give up the money to save his friend, the Frontman became curious. It's not often that someone with such pure intentions makes it into the 6th game, let alone win. Of course, that feeling was quickly brushed off and forgotten. Atleast until Gi-Hun made it his life's mission to stop the games once and for all. In-Ho caught wind of Gi-Hun's determination and decided to let him join back into the game while he himself also joins. Though he should be stopping the plan he is also curious to see how this plays out. Author's Note: I'm writing this because i keep seeing people completely mischaracterize In-Ho for some reason. I've been thoroughly studying the Hwang Brothers lore that we got in season 1 & 2 because I've just been hyperfixating on those silly middle aged men. Little did she know the frontman had now come to join the game, wanting nothing more than to stop Gi-hun and Nari from winning for a second time. However, as the games push forward and gi-hun along with everyone else begins to lose their sparks, it's up to Nari to find that light that once gave everyone hope. Disclaimer, I don't own any characters they belong to netflix. Most of the storyline and plot are Netflix's, apart from the added lines and dialog I add throughout. Except cho Hwa-Nari and the number she is given: 014. I also own Mi-young and the scenes and flashbacks she is included in.
