I don't wanna give too much away but just quickly bare in mind I've never written a novel this is my very first book and it's based in the viking era but in a time of magic and sorcery(fingers crossed my imagination isn't a disappointment to ya'll)
this is about two (Danes) viking brothers who sought out to conquer lands that would give them wealth beyond imagining but with that comes temptations and quarrels , enemies will be made, bonds will be broken but will blood prevail ?.

The air was thick with the scent of smoke and steel, and Keneith's hand itched for the weight of his axe. These walls, these gilded halls of the king he swore to raze, stank of wealth and weakness. Let them feel fear, he thought, let the blood run red in the moonlight as it had in the fjords.
Yet... there was something in her. The ward of this foolish king. She moved like the wind through pine, silent, unyielding, yet unbroken. Keneith found his heart, stubborn and traitorous, answering to her presence. Curse the gods, he swore, for the stirrings of fire in a place meant only for shadow and steel.
He would destroy them all - and yet, the thought of her untouched in the ruin gnawed at him. Could a man such as he bend to care? No. And yet... yes. Gods above, what game did fate play when the hand of death met the hand of longing?

This story came up to me one day about four years before yesterday. I have to accept the real and mostly true events that did happen in Paris in the year 2018. The events happened a couple of months later I wrote this fantasy! The French President was shocked himself by the events described in my book! I am sorry, dear Mr. President about those events! "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up.
