
He stepped forward, his presence closing in on her until there was nowhere to retreat. With a swift motion, he pressed her back against the cool, unforgiving wall. His body was inches from hers, the space between them charged with an intensity that made her breath catch. She felt the weight of his strength, his arms bracketing her on either side, fingers splayed against the wall as if he had every intention of keeping her there.
