Oneshot --- She only wanted to pass midterms. Instead, Kara opened a book...and summoned him. Aster. All sharp edges and dark beauty, already calling her mine. He answers her prayers with teeth: he protects, he punishes, and he never shares. One rule: tell him when it's too much. But Kara doesn't know how to say stop-especially when his voice curls around her like smoke: "Say my name." "Aster." "Good. Now choose me." Just when she thinks she can handle his obsession, Envy arrives-smiling like a blade, pressing a kiss against her lips only to watch the world burn. Suddenly, past scars rip open, demons remember how to hunt, and desire tastes a lot like danger. Now Kara has a choice: close the book and lose him forever...or set her soul on fire and stay wicked. "You can't own me." "Then show me your spine." Red dress. Wicked promises. A jealous demon who worships with claws. And a twist that will make you whisper-What in the Wattpad?! #WITWContest

The corridor was silent. Too silent. She glanced over her shoulder and ran. Her footsteps echoed against the marble floor as she gathered her dress and hurried down the dimly lit hallway. She knew he was behind her. She could feel it. "Stop." His voice stopped her for half a second. Deep. Calm. Certain. She ran faster. A faint laugh followed from somewhere behind her. "You really think you can outrun me, princess?" She didn't answer. She turned the corner, hoping to lose him, but the moment she looked ahead, her heart dropped. He was already there. Leaning against the doorway. Waiting. She stopped so abruptly that she nearly stumbled. His eyes met hers. "You're getting predictable." She backed away. "Move." He straightened. "No." "Zayan." "Duaa." For a moment, neither moved. Then she turned and ran again. This time, he followed. Not rushing. Not panicking. He didn't need to. He knew the house better than she did. And eventually, when Duaa reached the end of the corridor, there was nowhere left to go. She turned around. Zayan stood several steps away, breathing steadily. "You're the hunter," she whispered. His expression hardened. "And you're the prey?" She lifted her chin. "Only in your imagination." Something almost like amusement flickered across his face. "Good." He took one step forward. "Because I don't want someone who gives up easily." Duaa's eyes narrowed. "You're unbelievably arrogant." "And you're unbelievably stubborn." "I hate you." His expression changed, becoming quieter. "Then keep running." She stared at him. He stepped aside, leaving the corridor open. "Go." Duaa hesitated. Then she ran. And behind her, Zayan smiled faintly before following. The game wasn't over. It had barely begun. ZAYAN VS DUAA AGE GAP SHE RUNS AND HE CATCHES HER SHE IS THE PREY AND HE IS THE HUNTER.
