The Londoner Patrick gets released out of the isolating prison where every male between the ages of sixteen and twenty-six has to stay to prevent them from commiting crimes. 
Only a few days later. 
Just after receiving the news of his girlfriend being pregnant, Till, a writer from Vienna, is send away on his sixteenth birthday. 
One Day Before Christmas 2034
To keep her twin brother from being taken away, the spanish girl sarah fakes being him and gets taken to prison instead of him.
New Year's Eve
Not wanting her only son to be taken away, the young mother Maria kills two officers and runs away with her son only to find herself in the spectrum of the mafia. 
January 4, 2035
Knowing that he is going to be taken away the next day, Lewis runs away and starts living a life of crime and illegally dealing on the streets of New York.
