All Summer Long

Summer was always magical for Katrina Catawanee. For as long as she can remember, summer was the one time of year when she could forget about people's expectations of her. There were no concerns about not achieving the best grades and managing two clubs, all while participating in three varsity sports. She knew that if she wanted to go to college, she had to be the best to get scholarships; otherwise, her dreams about becoming a veterinarian would be over. Yet, for three short months, she could just relax and be herself.
This summer, though, was different. This summer was full of expectations and responsibilities. High school was over, and all of her hard work paid off. She was going to college. Her whole life was always dictated by choices for her future, but now she is facing much more than a new academic adventure. She finds herself torn between two men, one who represents everything that was and another who represents everything that could be. Whichever choice she makes, one person will be hurt. Mixed within all of the chaos of starting college and a summer romance, life becomes quickly overwhelming for Kat.
